A Different Way to Enter the New Year

There’s something about the start of a new year that makes us feel like we should have it all figured out.
New goals. New habits. New routines. A new version of ourselves we’re somehow supposed to become the moment the clock strikes midnight.
But what if this year started differently?
What if, instead of immediately asking yourself what needs to change, you gave yourself the space to notice what’s already changing within you?
Before we can decide where we’re going, there’s value in honoring where we’ve been.
The past year may have held growth you didn’t recognize while you were in it. Things you outgrew. Things you’re still carrying. Moments that changed you. Parts of yourself you rediscovered — and maybe parts you’re still getting to know.
We don’t always give ourselves the space to process those things before moving on to whatever comes next.
A Different Kind of New Year
This New Year’s, we’re creating that space.
BREATHE Retreat: Embracing Your Higher Self is an intimate, four-day experience designed to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and enter the year ahead from a place of greater clarity and intention.
Surrounded by the mountains and natural beauty of Elohee, we’ll move through a thoughtfully guided journey of reflection, release, presence, and becoming.
Not with pressure to have the next year mapped out.
Not with a list of resolutions telling you who you should become.
But with curiosity about who you already are — and who you may be becoming.
Because sometimes the next step doesn’t come from pushing harder or figuring everything out.
Sometimes, we have to get quiet enough to hear it.
A Journey Into What’s Next
As we close one year and begin another, we’ll make space to honor what has been, settle into what is, and listen for what’s calling us forward.
There is something powerful about experiencing that transition intentionally — away from the noise and expectations of everyday life, surrounded by nature and in community with others doing the same.
You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly defined vision for your next chapter.
You just need to arrive open to discovering it.
This New Year, instead of asking, “Who do I need to become?”
Maybe the better question is:
What is already waiting within me?
We’d love to explore that question with you at BREATHE.
